Pancham-Nishad aims to strive to bridge the prevailing gap between the academic institutions and the traditional Guru-Shishya paramparaa. The institution is an endeavour to fulfill socio-cultural commitments. Pancham-Nishad Sangeet Sansthan was started in 1995 by today’s renowned playback and classical singer, Devaki Pandit, in a small hall of SukhaNiketan ,Bhawanipur Colony.

Pancham Nishad Sangeet sansthan (an organization registered since 1995 and headquartered in Indore MP), is dedicated to preserving and promoting Hindustani (North Indian) Classical Music traditions of Indian culture. The main activities of Institution are to arrange concerts of upcoming but exceptional quality by well-known and unknown artists from India. Pancham Nishad Sangeet sansthan is run by Committee members and volunteers only and functions like a non-profit organization.

In addition to arranging concerts, Pancham Nishad Sangeet Sansthan also facilitates educational activities through School of Music. Formal teaching classes (for all ages) in vocal and instrumental Indian Music (Sitar, Tabla, Harmonium, Keyboard) offered by experienced professionals. Pancham Nishad Sangeet Sansthan can achieve these goals only through your participation and cooperation. OUR AIMS

1. To promote the Arts especially Indian Classical Music with its richness of tradition and talent by providing a worthy platform for performance
2. To foster a love for the Arts by providing a showcase of the finest exponents
3. To indicate in coming generations a desire to learn and continue this rich tradition through a ‘Guru–Shishya’ relationship with leading maestros
4. To facilitate the teaching and demonstration of the traditional arts like music, dance etc. through lectures, seminars and workshop by leading exponents
